From First Call to First Cohort in 3-4 Weeks

Implementing SHIFT in your organization is straightforward. We've designed the process to get you up and running quickly—without overwhelming your team or disrupting your operations.

Step 01

Discovery Call

20 minutes

What happens:

  • We learn about your organization, your population, and your current programming
  • We ask about your challenges, your capacity, and your goals
  • We recommend the partnership tier that fits your organization's size
  • We share transparent pricing and answer all your questions

What you need:

  • How many facilitators you have (or plan to train)
  • Approximately how many participants you serve annually
  • Your current completion rates (if you track them)
  • Any specific questions or concerns

Outcome: You'll know exactly what SHIFT costs, what's included, and whether it's a good fit—no follow-up calls required unless you want them.

Step 02

Partnership Agreement

Same Day – 1 Week

What happens:

  • If you decide to move forward, we'll send a simple partnership agreement
  • You choose your payment plan (monthly, quarterly, or annual)
  • We set up payment processing
  • We schedule your facilitator training

What you need:

  • Review and sign the partnership agreement
  • Set up your preferred payment method
  • Provide facilitator names and contact information
  • Choose training dates that work for your team

Outcome: You're officially a SHIFT partner, and your facilitators are scheduled for training.

Step 03

Facilitator Training

1–3 Weeks

What happens:

  • Your facilitators receive comprehensive training on all three phases
  • Training can be virtual (most common) or in-person (Tampa Bay area or by arrangement)
  • Typically delivered across 2-3 sessions (2-3 hours each) to accommodate schedules
  • Facilitators receive complete guides, slides, and materials before the first session

What you need:

  • Facilitators available for scheduled training sessions
  • Access to video conferencing (for virtual training)
  • Time to review materials between sessions

What you receive:

Facilitator guides for all three phases
Presentation slides for every session
Participant workbooks for your first cohort (shipped before training begins)
Access to all support resources
Login to facilitator community platform

Outcome: Your facilitators are fully trained, confident, and ready to launch. You have all materials in hand.

Step 04

Launch Your First Cohort

Week 4+

What happens:

  • You recruit participants and schedule your first session
  • Your facilitators deliver the curriculum using the guides and materials provided
  • Participants receive workbooks and begin the 18-week journey
  • We're available for questions and support from day one

What you need:

  • Enrolled participants ready to begin
  • Scheduled session times
  • Appropriate meeting space

Ongoing support during your cohort:

Weekly Q&A sessions: Facilitators can join live (or watch recordings) to ask questions, troubleshoot, and learn from peers
Email/message support: Questions between sessions? Reach out anytime
Monthly masterminds: Deeper discussions on challenges, successes, and strategies
Resource library: Templates, tools, and additional materials available 24/7

Outcome: Your first cohort is underway, and your facilitators feel supported every step of the way.

Step 05

Quarterly Reviews

Every 3 Months

What happens:

  • We schedule a call to review your outcome data together
  • We look at enrollment, attendance, completion rates, and any employment outcomes
  • We identify what's working well and where you might need support
  • We help you course-correct if needed and celebrate successes

What you need:

  • Your tracking data (using the templates we provide)
  • Questions or challenges you're experiencing
  • Feedback from facilitators and participants

Outcome: You stay on track, address issues early, and have data ready when funders ask for it.

Step 06

Year 2 Renewal

Month 12

What happens:

  • About 60 days before your Year 1 ends, we'll check in about renewal
  • Year 2 pricing is approximately 50% of Year 1
  • You continue receiving all support (weekly Q&A, monthly masterminds, quarterly reviews)
  • You receive one set of workbooks annually (can purchase more as needed)

What to decide:

  • Do you want to continue the partnership?
  • Do you want to add Forward to Work for post-employment support?
  • Do you want to train additional facilitators or expand to more sites?

Outcome: You either renew with confidence, knowing the system works—or part ways respectfully if it's not the right fit.
